Super nice waitress, can make much of the menu gf gluten free on request, even breaded dishes like sweet and sour. The sweet and sour chicken was great.
Authentic chinese food, great service, great happy hours
They automatically added tips to our bill as a party of 4 people. The menu clearly says the tips will be added if you got 6 or more people. American chinese fast food. No better than panda express.
Great place, great staff, good food.
THE SPRING ROLLS ARE A LIE! Basically, they’re just egg rolls, dressed to look like spring rolls. Huge disappointment. Other than that, everything was nice. Nice, clean atmosphere; attentive service; hot, fresh food in a timely manner. The only other thing I might complain about is the prices.
Good food, decent prices, and I'll go back
Best Chinese food in the city!
Great option for Chinese food! Gluten free soy sauce, able to accommodate gluten allergies. Good food and decent prices!
Great food, great service.
Food was good. Portions were very large. Service was far above average. We will be going back.
Good food for a decent enough price.
Great as always. Amazing service and great food.
I had good memories from 5 or so years ago, but the current food and service are lacking
Wonderful food. Not very comfortable tables.
Been going for years, recently went about a month ago and the food was TERRIBLE. Pale mushy potstickers and bland soda (soda ALWAYS seems to be an issue here) among other things. Disappointed, won't be back until they get it together. Service is friendly but really really needs to speed things up for people on their lunch breaks.
Everything I ate was delicious. Crab Rangoon and egg flour soup especially good. Can't wait to go back and try more dishes.
Grabbed the fried eggplant on happy hour and it was fantastic, piping hot and super crispy with a great sause, staff was friendly too.
Delicious food, quick service and close to my work place.
Food was good Staff was great and it was right around the corner of The Hotel Rose where we were staying at.. will visit again..
The food was amazing. The hot tea was perfect. My three yr old grandson kept eating alot of sweet and sour chicken.Well worth the price.
The best place ever hands down and the waitress is the best.
I have heard mixed reviews about this place, lunch however is your basic greasy American Chinese food. Maybe dinner is more authentic? With all the real Chinese restaurants on the other side of river I have never had the urge to take the chance here for dinner.
Friendly staff that has treated me well over the years. Good food and they offer a nice happy hour menu. Great for large groups. Ive never heard a bad word about this place and plan to visit many more times.
Not as good as it used to be but perfectly fine lunch fare.
Great place to eat for sure. The food is really good the meat nice and tender it melts in your mouth. Chef has worker there for a long time now. They even have a bar and also do party reservations and will have a big projection screen. The best Chinese Food Ever!!!
Beautiful atmosphere, friendly service and amazing food. Presentation is always superb and the staff... ALWAYS so friendly! Were regulars now! Definitely one of Portland's hidden gems.
Good food fairly traditional.
Good food, great staff. Happy to return more.
Service was excellent. Nice romantic atmosphere. Really like the shrimp lo-mein dish.
Absolutely amazing restaurant. This is my third time in 2 days and I must say I’ve never been this impressed. The food is amazing, the drinks are great and the service is outstanding. If you’re in Portland, you’ve got to try it out!
I can't wait to return, and look forward to them opening back up for dining in. The kindest staff, she was so excited to have customers to help. What a joyful experience!
The food is not that good and Lino Head is really bad. The foods may taste good for Americans, but my friends and I are Chinese and we think it is bad and expensive. The food serving speed is really slow. I arrived the restaurant at 3PM, and we were the only customer in there. However, we waited for an hour for our food! They had two menus, one is in Chinese and another is in English. But the price is different! And waiter did not told me about this even I asked her what the difference about two menus. I feel cheated! Anyway, I will not be there any more!
Awesome place. Great customer service
So when my son suggested we dine at Dragonwell, I asked "Is it buffet style?" Absolutely not! This is the best Chinese food I've had since leaving NYC! We ordered shared plates, like dumplings, pot stickers and rice chips. Yummy! Then I had the Sesame Chicken dinner. Crispy, a tiny bit of spice and gooey...the best! Others in our party had General Tso's chicken, Flower Soup, Dragonwell Ribs...all delicious! The service was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was comfortable. Very much worth a try!
Excellent Chinese food! So many other restaurants serve bland, flavorless Chinese food. Not here, every dish was plentiful and very tasty. Each dish is big so plan accordingly and bring friends since these dishes are meant to be shared.
The service is always good but the quality of meat needs to be better. Kung Pao Chicken was stringy and tough.
I’m disappointed with the lack of quality here. I’ve had similar fare at Panda Express at a fraction of the cost, and a fraction of the expectations. The owners either need to remove the word “prawn” from their menu, or, stop serving small shrimp in its place. Our “prawn” appetizer was nothing more than fried butterfly shrimp. The “prawns” in our main course were even smaller, like you’d find in a salad, or, at Panda Express where at least they call them shrimp.I am not likely to return to this restaurant.
I had high expectations of this place, it wasn't very good. The food was terribly overpriced and didn't taste good. I want to say the style was striving for Cantonese, but it seemed more like an odd fusion of other Chinese styles like soup dumplings which were not good. The decor is nice and location is good, but the food really wasn't there. They include alot of photos of famous people eating here, but it seems odd judging by my experience.
THIS PLACE IS GREAT FOR ALLERGIES!!!! I'm a super gluten and they took AMAZING care of me. Chinese food can be so hard to find, especially GOOD Chinese food. or even better, AMAZING Chinese food.
The food is amazing, the price is great, and the waiters are cute!
A little old school Chinese......but still really good. Broad traditional menu to order from. Cooked to order food that comes out hot with appropriate seasoning. Mix up your order and share with your group. Cocktails are yummy too. Pricing is reasonable I will be back soon
I have always loved this place, but after not visiting for a while, our most recent experience was pretty terrible. After being seated, we weren't given water until after the server came back to take our order. She then said she couldn't ask the kitchen to be mindful of my shellfish allergy because they would "yell" at her .We got our food which was awesome as usual but never saw a server again until we were ready to leave. Completely out of water mind you, and had not been checked on once.We then had to do the check dance of which each part of took 5-10 mins .I will probably give them another chance, but hope different staff is on duty .
I had the Dragonwell ribs... devine!!! And the house dumpling specialty... excellent! And the service was equally as amazing as the food. My servers were Kevin, at the bar, and a lovely young lady with a super long braid (wish I had caught her name). I am an out-of-stater... and it felt like going to Cheers... warm friendly atmosphere. This place is a hidden gem, but a must go, if you go to Portland, OR.
Utterly delicious food and attentive, friendly service.
Always love this place. Friendly staff, usually no waiting, consistent food quality. Accommodating to large parties abd groups.
Fried rice was good
Great food, Waiter is one of my favorite people
First time I had been here. Amazing food, great service. Make sure you try the Xia Long Boa. Never had it before, cant stop thinking about it!
Pretty good Chinese style food served on rectangle plates. Service was fine. No complaints.
